After living in the city awhile, people tend to feel bored and fatigued. They cannot but ask, “How long have I not beheld the night sky studded with sheeny stars? How long have I not heard the enrapturing songs of the chirping birds?” Having the same feeling, I decided to step into the wild nature and enjoy a fantastic journey.

Mother Nature is full of life. She’s just like us, holding different expressions and emotions such as joy, ire, sorrow and pleasure. Spring is jolly and merry, as the world is as vigorous as ever. Small runlets sing smoothly and softly, accompanying the blissful canary. What a perfect scenery! The passionate summer is not only joyous, but raging as well. The scorching sun shines with resplendent flames full of ardor; the dainty flowers bloom with great panache, ornamenting the hills with pollen and aroma, as if they were lovers mad in love. The puckish wind sweeps over the sea, bringing huge waves of spume. Autumn days are mild and docile. Zephyr of fall blows across the golden fields of wheat tenderly, leaving tiny ripples behind. Crimson leaves descend peacefully, going into a tranquil slumber. Taciturn is the winter, as the mountains and streams are all covered with thick blankets of snow. Everyone, everything has gone to sleep; even the aura seems to freeze.

The nature world embraces many meanings of life within, which are worth our while to seek and discover. There’s a carnivorous mantis prowling behind the cicada, waiting to hunt for a fine meal. Does it happen to know that a sly lark is at its back, hungering for the edible insect? Is it a plausible tale that the peasant waiting under the tree may catch the wild hare falling into the trap by itself? Countless natural phenomena symbolize the endless existence and life of our world; the changing of sun and moon, the torrent flowing non-stop represents the eternity of the universe. Encircled by Mother Nature, humans are seemingly tiny and frail. Yet the value of life can be limitless; even a footstep in the snow may last forever.

Mother Nature is a book never to be finished reading. It contains no words nor sentences, but can still be comprehended by anyone. How long have you not embraced and kissed the beautiful mother of nature? Why not abandon the rumbustious daily life for a moment, and go into the wonderful world of nature?
